Events & Activities

All meetings will be held at the Bill Gies Recreation Complex

The Wellesley Apple Butter and Cheese Festival offers events and entertainment for all ages.  They day starts at 7:00 am with our Pancake Breakfast.  Our craft and food market opens at 8:00 am and the festival runs all day until 4:00 pm.

We offer free parking and admission and we have free tractor wagons running all day to transport people throughout the festival.

7:00 am – Pancake and Sausage Breakfast.

8:00 am – Queens Bush Road Street Mall – Apple Fritters, Anna Mae’s Apple Fritter Donuts, Carmel Apples, Pickle on a Stick, Sausage on a bun, Schnitzel on a bun.

8:00 am – Kiddie Fun Track. Located beside the arena.

8:00 am – Antique car display behind the Library on Henry Street. Anyone with an antique or display car is welcome to display their car for festival day. Cars can start parking at 7:00 am.

Antique Allis Chalmers Tractor show on Brown Street.  Anyone with an antique or display tractor is welcome to display their tractor for festival day. Tractors can be parked Friday evening and should arrive no later than 8:00 am on Saturday morning.

8:00 am – Craft Market Opens in the Arena and in the ball diamond.

8:00 am – Food Vendors serving food all day at our Arena market.

9:00 am – Horse Shoe Tournament. Located beside the Arena.

9:00 am – Craft Hard Cider Sampling Event opens. Located inside the Arena.

10:00 am – Modern Dairy Farm Tour. Buses will be running back and forth to the farm all day. Loading passengers in the Wellesley Auto Care parking lot on Nafziger Road.

12:00 pm – Antique Car Parade will go from Henry Street to Catherine Street, around the Arena and Community Centre parking lot, down Maple Leaf Street and then up Nafziger Road to Henry Street.
